Account and Phone Number Information

• When you use a phone number to register or log in, we collect your phone number.
• The purposes for collecting this information include:
  • Completing account registration and login verification (via SMS verification code)
  • Safeguarding account security (e.g., risk identification, abnormal login detection)
  • Providing account recovery and customer support services
• We will not use your phone number for unauthorized marketing purposes, nor will we sell or illegally share your phone number.
• If you no longer use our services, you can delete related information by deactivating your account.

Information We Collect

LimeVoice requires access to certain device features to provide its functionality:

• Audio Recording: We request microphone permission to enable functions such as recording and real-time voice recognition in the app. When you actively turn on the recording or voice recognition function, to ensure that these features continue to run normally even after the app is switched to the background, this app will start a foreground recording service and display a running notification in the system notification bar. The foreground service runs only while you are actively using the relevant functions and will stop automatically when recording or voice recognition ends. Audio recordings are stored only on your device unless you explicitly choose to share them.
• Bluetooth: We use Bluetooth to detect, search for, and connect to Bluetooth devices in order to enable functions such as device communication and audio transmission. When you actively connect a Bluetooth device and use the relevant functions, this app may start a foreground Bluetooth communication service to ensure that the device connection remains stable even when the app is switched to the background, and it will display a running notification in the system notification bar. The foreground service runs only while you are using the relevant functions and will stop automatically when the connection is disconnected or you exit the relevant functions.
• Notifications: In order to display the foreground service running notification as required by the Android system when you use functions such as recording, real-time voice recognition, and Bluetooth device connection, this app will request notification permission. This notification is used to inform you that the relevant functions are running and allows you to quickly return to the app or end the relevant functions. We will not send you marketing notifications unrelated to the above functions through this permission.
• Location: Limited location access may be required for Bluetooth functionality on some devices. This is solely used to improve Bluetooth device discovery and connection reliability, not to track your location.
• Camera: Camera access is used exclusively for scanning QR codes within the app. We do not capture or store images for any other purpose.
• Device Sensor Information (e.g., Accelerometer): To ensure the normal operation of certain features (such as camera shooting, anti-shake processing, or device posture recognition), this application may access device sensors (e.g., accelerometer, gyroscope) in specific scenarios. Such information is only used locally on the device for feature implementation and will not be uploaded, stored, or used to identify your personal identity.

How We Use Your Information

• The permissions we request are used solely to provide the core functionality of LimeVoice
• We do not collect or transmit your recordings, location data, or camera images to our servers unless explicitly initiated by you
• We do not use your data for advertising or marketing purposes
• We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties
• To ensure that core functions such as recording, real-time voice recognition, and Bluetooth device connection continue to run in the background, we may start a foreground service when you actively use the relevant functions. The foreground service is used solely to implement the above functions and will not collect additional personal information from you as a result.
• Notification permission is only used to display the foreground service running status and necessary notifications related to app functions, and will not be used to send advertisements or marketing information without your consent.

Data Storage and Security

• Audio recordings are stored locally on your device
• We implement appropriate technical measures to protect your personal information
• We retain your data only for as long as necessary to provide our services
• The foreground service does not store any additional personal information about you; it is only used to maintain the operation of relevant functions. Once the related functions are stopped, the foreground service will automatically end.
